Width of shoemaker's hoof

If you are choosing your first barefoot shoes, we recommend choosing the Regular version. Regular also fits those with a narrower to normal foot.

The Wide version is designed for those who need more space in the toe and instep area. If you are new to the barefoot world and have a wider foot, choose Wide.

The Wide version is available on selected models in all sizes from EU 36 to EU 47.

The Regular version falls in its width into the circumference group G. It is suitable for narrower to normal feet. We also recommend it to those who are new to barefoot footwear.

The Wide version is designed for those who need more space in the area of the fingers and finger joints. The shoe itself is not only wider in the front part, but overall more voluminous and thus falls into the perimeter group H. If you are not new to the barefoot world and have a wider foot, choose Wide.

The perimeter groups are marked with the letters E, F, G, H, I and K. The higher the letter of the alphabet, the wider and bulkier the shoe is. The difference between individual peripheral groups is 6 mm.

In general:
F - slender, narrower foot
G - standard foot width
H - the foot is wider and bulkier in the area of the toe joints
I - extra large foot
K - the widest type of shoemaker's hoof, intended for a non-standard foot - with swelling, a fallen arch or excessively wide
