Finally, footwear that respects the natural development of a child’s foot the way nature intended. Light, flexible materials free of glues and phthalates support healthy growth, while the durable outer layer protects the foot and does not slip. Every pack includes a 2 mm perforated insole for even more comfort. Take the insole out and Skinners double as water or beach shoes.

Skinners have no laces, so children can put them on and take them off in seconds. The sock shoes are light, packable and slip easily into a backpack for any adventure — the playground, walks, the water, as indoor shoes or spare footwear. The pack also includes a practical water-resistant bag for storing dirty or damp sock shoes on the go.

Machine washable
Caring for Skinners is simple. Just air the sock shoes out after every wear and let them dry. You can also wash them by hand or in the machine at 30 °C. Do not use the spin cycle, a tumble dryer or fabric softener. The three-layer StretchKnit™, made of six ultra-functional Italian fibres, keeps the knit durable for a long time. You can also wear ordinary cotton socks inside them to wick sweat away even better.

Sock shoes are a great and universal piece
Sock shoes are a great and universal piece. My son (5) uses them in water but also for regular wear in nature. Only in the heat do his feet sweat in them, so we alternate them with sandals depending on the terrain. My husband was so jealous of my son that he's getting a pair too
Barefoot shoes for my daughter
My daughter likes the same barefoot shoes as I wear, so we bought a bigger size now.

Bought for my son, he wore them only 5 times for a short walk. The rubber already cracked in the heel area after the third use and has been falling apart since then. It's a shame, otherwise they would be great.

I don't recommend these ankle shoes
After the first walk, I got a hole in one of the shoes, then I contacted support and after about a week without a response. It's not about the shoes, they're pretty okay, except for the quality of the insole, although it might be a bad piece since it's only in one shoe. But if they want a pretty high price for shoes that are only for one use, then yes, if you want to use them in water or at the sea, they might be okay, but they're not suitable for trekking or wearing outside for a long time, as they will break immediately.

Great bare foot sock shoes
Great bare foot sock shoes. The kids like them the most out of all their shoes for walking in nature. I don't let them wear them in the city so they don't develop flat feet. On gravel it's okay, but on asphalt or pavement it's a struggle - you'd rather walk on the grass beside the road and try to avoid this surface altogether.

My son has been absolutely thrilled and satisfied with sock shoes since the first moment he put them on. He wants to wear them all the time. He runs, jumps, climbs everywhere, the sole holds well on all surfaces and doesn't slip, and he sometimes even rides a scooter with them. When he jumped into water with them, they really dried quickly, and when they get heavily soiled, I wash them and they're like new. We're both satisfied.
