The Vasky X Skinners Caramel ankle winter barefoot boots represent a unique collaboration between two Czech brands. Created as a limited edition of 400 pairs in an elegant caramel colour, they combine the attractive design and functional approach of Skinners with the craftsmanship and heritage of Vasky shoemakers. The wide toebox and flexible construction respect the natural movement of the feet, while the soft low-pile plush lining keeps them warm even in the coldest days. The Flowsense™ winter outsole with enhanced traction provides stability on wet and snowy surfaces. Simply winter barefoot boots where style and comfort meet in perfect balance.

Size chart

Our owner Petr measured 27.5 cm following our guide. When adding extra of 5–10 mm, he wears Skinners shoes in size 43. However, he wears Globetrotter and Wanderer textile shoes in size 42, because our textile shoes usually need a lower extra (thanks to the greater internal width of textile shoes). So you may (or may not) find that your leather shoes fit you a different size than your textile shoes, it is individual and depends on everyone's preference.

How to measure your foot correctly?

Material

Vasky X Skinners shoes are made of premium smooth leather with a finely structured surface characterized by small pores and a natural pattern with small wrinkles. The properties of such a material give the shoes a unique character. Unlike smooth white and black leather, this brown leather "works" over time - its color and appearance change, which contributes to the authentic aging of the shoes. The tongue and ankle area of ​​the shoe are complemented by pleasantly soft and durable goat leather. The lining is insulated with plush with a low pile.

The flexible and lightweight winter sole made of natural rubber is characterized by excellent anti-slip properties and high abrasion resistance.

The shoe includes a removable Classic insole.

Care guide

Clean the shoes of dirt with a brush or soft damp cloth and wipe dry. Apply impregnation and a suitable cream of the desired shade and polish. For occasional maintenance, you can also use self-polishing sponges - however, these only give the leather a shine and cannot replace regular treatment with a suitable cream.

Compared to the Cavalier model, Vasky X Skinners Caramel features an upper made from premium caramel Vasky leather. Thanks to joint production, we were able to offer this model at a more accessible price while retaining the same quality and top-tier materials.

Wide toe box, zero drop, flexible materials

Looks nothing like barefoot, feels exactly like it

Wide toe box provides enough room for toe movement in accordance with the anatomical shape of the foot. Zero drop (zero slope between heel and instep) allows the foot to move more naturally and strengthens the foot muscles, improving balance and posture. Flexible and lightweight materials promote a natural motion approaching barefoot walking, making your walk freer and more natural.
